Surg Capt Vidhu Bhatnagar is a highly accomplished neuroanesthesiologist and senior professor in anesthesiology and critical care, serving in the Indian Armed Forces. With extensive academic qualifications including MD, DNB, and DM in Neuroanesthesiology, she has built a distinguished career combining clinical excellence, military service, and academic leadership.
She has been actively deployed in key military operations such as Kargil and Operation Parakram, and has contributed as a technical expert in critical national projects, including medical systems for naval and air evacuation. A prolific academic, she has authored over 50 publications, multiple books, and contributed to leading medical literature.
Beyond medicine, she is a certified instructor, reviewer, and motivational speaker, with strong interests in bioethics, quality assurance, counseling, and holistic well-being. She is also recognized for leadership roles, international representation, and contributions to training and education in both medical and defense sectors.
