This workshop aims to provide enhanced hands-on exposure to ultrasound and nerve stimulation techniques in regional anaesthesia for urosurgical and transplant care.
Participants will:
- Gain practical skills in ultrasound-guided vascular access for renal failure and transplant patients.
- Learn and perform regional anaesthesia and analgesia techniques for genitourinary, urovascular, and transplant surgeries — including robotic procedures — by integrating real-time ultrasound imaging with peripheral nerve stimulation for improved precision and safety.
- Apply perioperative POCUS to strengthen assessment, decision-making, and patient outcomes in complex urosurgical settings.
