E-Infographic Competition Guidelines

Why Infographics?

Infographics provide a dynamic and powerful platform to present concepts in Regional Anaesthesia (RA), PoCUS, and Acute-Chronic Pain Management. They transform complex data into visually engaging, simplified, and retainable messages-essential for modern medical education.

This competition aims to promote creativity, learning, and innovation in these specialities through visual storytelling.

How to Take Part

  • Select Your Topic:
    1. Choose one of the following:
      1. Regional Anaesthesia (RA)
      2. PoCUS
      3. Acute Postoperative Pain Management
      4. Chronic Pain Medicine
  • Describe Your Infographic:
    1. Write a brief explanation (max 500 words) about:
      1. The theme and take-home message
      2. List of co-authors (if any)
  • Be Creative! Design Your Infographic:
    1. Your design must be original, self-created, and aesthetically appealing
    2. Easy to understand, concise, and scientifically accurate
    3. Tools: Canva, Piktochart, D3.js, Easel.ly

Technical & Submission Specifications

  • Accepted formats: .JPEG, .PNG, or .PDF
  • Image size:
  • Minimum: 1024 × 1024 px
  • Recommended: 1920 × 1080 px (landscape)
  • Maximum file size: 15 MB
  • Infographics must be non-interactive and will be displayed on large LCD screens
  • Add your name and contact information visibly on the image

Content Requirements

  • Must contain evidence-based, original content
  • All data, text, or visuals from external sources must be properly cited
  • Uphold scientific accuracy and integrity

Design Guidelines

  • Organize content in a logical, sequential flow
  • Use readable fonts, balanced colors, and clean graphics
  • Avoid overcrowding-ensure it is easy to grasp at a glance

Judging & Evaluation
