The Chairman Dr. J. G. Shanmuganathan Best Publication Award in Anaesthesiology 2026, instituted by Ganga Hospital, recognises outstanding original research in anaesthesiology. The winner will receive a ₹25,000 cash prize. Eligible entries include articles published in peer-reviewed journals between December 2024 and December 2025, with applicants required to be the first or corresponding author. Each author may submit only one entry, and only original studies such as RCTs or retrospective analyses are accepted—meta-analyses are not eligible. Submissions must be emailed as PDFs by 31st December 2025, following which an eminent jury will select the best paper.

The award will be presented during AORA-GARC 2026 conference , held from 16–19 July 2026 in Coimbatore.
